Growing plants up a wall….unbelievable.

This system of using a wall for a vertical garden will be adopted world-wide. Covering a plain wall with beautiful edible plants will transform many high-rise living areas. It will be good for community spirit.

A large board was built with 16 compartments and an irrigation system was installed. The compartments are filled with good quality moisture retaining compost that had slow release fertilizer.

The whole bookshelf looking structure is then covered in a geo-textile fabric to hold in the compost and plants. This vertical garden was planted with variegated oregano, purple basil, thyme and nasturtiums.
