A great video on how to build a strawberry tower using pvc pipe.

This is a very interesting video on how to build a strawberry tower using readily available materials. The section of pipe is measured and cut half way through and then heated with hot air and pushed in to create a pocket. These are done on alternate sides to the top. Expanded shale is used as the growing medium. Each pocket will hold about 5 cups of medium which is suitable for shallow rooted crops such as strawberries or lettuce.
