This is unbelievable, a single tree with 40 different fruit!!
A professor at Syracuse University, uses “chip grafting” to produce a tree that carries 40 different varieties of stone fruit.
Can you imagine having one of these in your garden? Maybe not but I thing if we could follow this method, creating a tree with say 6 different fruits would be possible.
I searched the internet on this subject and found a company in Australia called the Fruit salad Tree Company that sells fruit trees with 6 different fruits on them. This is a brilliant idea and would suit a home with a small garden. There are 4 Tree Types:
1. Stone Fruits 2. Citrus Fruits 3. Multi Apples 4. Multi Nashis.
If you had a choice, what would you like to have growing in your garden? I think I would go for the citrus one. I think that they would be easier to look after.
