Here is a chemical free solution using 6 Mosquito repelling plants to protect you  during your summer barbecues. The dreaded mosquito is the perpetual pest and it never leaves you alone.

The 6 plants are;  1. Citronella Geranium,  2. Marigold ‘Lemon Gem’,  3. Lemon Grass,  4. Catnip,  5. Ageratum ‘Artist Purple’,  6. Lemon Thyme.

There is a suggested plan on where to place the plants, however you can choose to have several pots surrounding the entertaining area. You may even try to burn a citronella candle if the mosquitoes are really bad.
